Every American, (that’s 100%), that I have picked up from the airport returning from France, (I drive Uber in South Florida), tells me that there is a profound hatred among the everyday French people that they encountered in that country. I don’t know where you get your information, but from polling my riders, I would say that you need to get it from other sources! In fact, if you are an America who is planning to visit France, learn another language! If you speak ANYTHING but English, you will have the full cooperation and a ‘pleasant attitude’ from people over there. Spanish is good because most Americans cannot affect a decent French accent when learning the French language.
